I've been a bartender at Cosimo's Bar for just about 10 years. I started there, with no bartending experience, in 2006. Friends taught me the basics and the rest, well the School of Hard Knocks and a curious mind can teach you plenty. I'm by no means a mixologist, but I love a good cocktail. If you tell me what's in it, and I have the ingredients, I can make it (or at least a reasonably tasty facsimile ). Watching someone create a beautiful cocktail is my kind of art. I'm still learning every day and that's why I can't shake my love of bartending. I'm a "Jameson neat" kinda broad normally. So, this competition will be completely new and outside of my comfort zone as a "locals bar bartender".... And I like that. Cheers y'all!
