Liam Deegan is the managing partner at Barrel Proof in the Lower Garden District. After running the bar program at Sylvain, he and Sylvain owner Robert LeBlanc teamed up to open a place that displayed their love for beer, whiskey, and simple, classic cocktails. He stocked up on as much whiskey as the shelves could fit, plus a little extra Old Grand Dad, and opened Barrel Proof in May 2014.
